DESCRIPTION OF ITINERARY:
DAY 01: CUSCO AIRPORT – HOTEL: A driver will pick you up from Cusco Airport, who is waiting for you at the arrivals hall with a sign with your name on it. As a reference: Domestic flights, sometimes there is 20 minutes difference for the arrivals. International flights: Sometimes 45 – 60 minutes difference for the arrivals, don’t worry about the time, we will check your flight, monitor for delays, and make sure the driver is waiting for you when you arrive. Once you meet our staff, you will be driven to your selected hotel in Cusco, a car trip of 15minutes approx. For hotels locates in Urubamba 1:00 hour, and hotels located in Ollantaytambo 1.30 hours.

Cusco: The city of Cusco is located at 3400 m above sea level, which was the capital of the Inca´s Empire, navel of the world. The city is known as the archaeological center of the Americas. UNESCO declared Cusco a World Heritage Site in 1983 and its legacy dates back to the 15th century and is attributed to the Inca Pachacutec, who built the city’s most remarkable constructions. There are 17 colonial churches around Cusco, all of them built above Inca ceremonial temples.

We recommend you not hire taxi-automovile service from Cusco city to Urubamba or Ollantaytambo villages, beacuse according Peruvian regulations, they are not allowed transport foreigners, otherwise taxi driver will a penalty of US$1,270.00 USA Dollars or S/ 4,200.00 PEN (Peruvian currency). Taxi drivers are allowed to transport foreigners only inside the city.
